Do we need to upgrade the CDL from B to A to run transfer truck?
Also, is it worth the investment to upgrade? Central Florida.

Yes. Class B only goes up to like 54,000 lbs. pretty sure for that combination empty even you’d have to be Class A. Should know that before going any further.

Transfer trucks are tricky to operate, so you can't just put anybody in the driver's seat. There's a lot more moving parts to break and maintain. The 2 main advantages of the transfer combo is that the dump truck can unload in tight spaces, so you're able to get 2 loads hauled instead of one and you can unload in a tight space. The other advantage is that you can haul 2 different types of ag. -
