Thank you so much for the info, I was losing faith and motivation over this whole issue, so knowing that is definitely bringing back my drive.

I do my dead level best to put the most accurate information out. I have said before if I am wrong about something and somebody calls me out, please link to why I am wrong. Right now I am 100% disabled and have a lot of health issues I have described ad nauseam on these boards. My primary issue is I have to isolate myself because catching Covid most likely will put me in the hospital. I pass the time trying to help people with problems. This leaves me with tons of time to research. Yes, I also have a lot of friends that are Terminal managers and safety critters. I also have some friends that are retired State DOT cops.Speed_Drums, Dockbumper, SoulScream84 and 1 other person Thank this.

I take this stuff too and now my employer is saying I can't be on anything that is sedating. Do you know of which companies don't care it's not sedating for me in the day I take it at night.

You are protected by hippa law. They do not test for seroquel , it’s no one’s business either. If you can function and safely drive then go for it. I was diagnosing bi polar as well. I probably should be on meds tho I just never cared for the side effects. As I got older I calmed down some but everyone’s different. I just wouldn’t volunteer any informed you do not have to. Especially with anyone who could use it against you at some point which is basically any and everyone.

Very cool and refreshingly to read from someone who actually gives facts and not misguided and unethical opinions they frame as factual. Thank you.

No you are not protected, HIPAA has a safety regulated exemption that precludes privacy and it has been that way since day one,

As the operator of a CMV you CAN NOT hide behind HIPAA OR any other medical privacy law. Here is the issue and I can't stress this hard enough. A carrier can base a job offer on a signed release to almost any medical information about you in existence. HIPAA is a term that needs to be removed from these forums as it relates to ANYBODY performing a safety sensitive function that falls into ANY of the departments affected by 49 CFR.
