Right now it’s priced at 45k. I googled Freightliner in my city(Dallas) and see the same make and model at the dealership with 40,000 more miles is listed as $64,000.
So here’s the specs on mine
2020 Cascadia
-494k miles(extended warranty of engine and after treatment until 600k or January 2026)
-19,000 engine hours
-Installed APU but apu broke
-Refrigerator door broke
-A/C not blowing cold when parked. Got new compressor that didn’t fix issue
-Intermittent low coolant light that keeps CEL on since September(dealership replaced sensor and it didn’t fix it )
-Intermittent DEF sensor that came on for the past 10,000 miles goes on and off
-New turbo installed in September under warranty.
Can you guys help me price my truck

Rideandrepair and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -
If u sent it to auction, probably get about 30 out of it... I'd say 45k u should be able to sell it for thay

I doubt it. 19K engine hours is insane. My 1 million mile pete only had 21K hours. So that thing has likely idled a TON. Hard to say exactly how much percentage wise, but even my new lonestar only has 16k hours at 500k and its a former PTO pump truck with a 40% idle time. If he admits to the engine lights thats a solid 10 to 15k right there in repairs and they WILL talk hin down.
Auction he MIGHT see 30k. But with those engine hours and codes id be shocked if he could get half that. 30k is what a private buyer is likely to offer. Course a sucker is born every day so he might get 45 or 50.....but id be shocked.Feedman, Crude Truckin', Siinman and 11 others Thank this. -
Fellas, OP should think positive. If the CEL has you by the balls, pull out the bulbs.

True. Very true. I have a 2024 Cascadia and I noticed a code would pop up relating to DEF that seemed to only come on when the DEF tank was full. The orange engine light would stay on until the next day and go out. I stopped topping that off and haven't seen it since, though.broke down plumber, D.Tibbitt and Rideandrepair Thank this.

I won’t even try to guess. Dealers have financing and usually will have everything working. Can’t expect top dollar, selling as is. A/C not working is a big deal. Possibly needs the front of condenser cleaned. Coolant sensor plug may be the culprit for cel. They sell new pigtails at dealer. Non working apu? Deal breaker for most these days. Refrigerator door? Has to be one in a junkyard somewhere. Otherwise send it to auction. Probably best bet anyway. Try getting info on previous auction sales, to help estimate selling price.

Crude Truckin', broke down plumber, Iamoverit and 1 other person Thank this. -
Make it easy on yourself and let a dealer sell it for you on consignment. Dreamers and tire kickers will waste so much of your time selling it yourself.

My main issue with the dealer is that they wanted me to pay for a 2 hour diagnostic before they made me an offer. Which was odd to me because other people said they didn’t have to do that at all.
