How fast do you need to sell it?

 

Yes. There is a sensor that detects when you fill the tank. The DEF quality test is triggered by that. You still have a problem and it will eventually show up in failed regens.

 

Do these other people have check engine lights on?

 

Classic symptom of engine fan not coming on. It's most likely the AC high pressure switch, or the fan solenoid, or there is an air leak to/from the fan solenoid.

 

Do it on consignment. The dealer doesn't buy it from you. Instead they sell it for you for part of the selling price.

 

I wouldn't give $10k for it. It's obvious you don't take care of it. Sorry, truth sucks sometimes.
