Sitting at the screaming Eagle truck wash in Rayville Louisiana. Supposed to open at 8. Got in line at 07:45 and they didn’t open their doors till 08:45. What a way to start the day.

    Knucklehead Thanks this.

Lol sounds very much like the price I was quoted to wash my stepdeck after getting stuck in the mud at a jobsite…or deiced when I had two inches of ice on the deck. They do like to make their money when they can.

Nice thing about these floor loaded potato loads is you’re in an out. Checked in at lamb Weston Park Rapids Minnesota at noon and was checked in, scaled, loaded, reweighed, and checked out and on the road by 12:30

Knucklehead, cdavis188 and Dennixx Thank this.

I’m a new guy so I’m not sure if these are desirable loads for the veteran guys. I mean the load and unload times are great and it’s good miles it’s the trailer washouts that a b$&!? on these loads.

Well that was quick. Just got fired from magnum because I didn’t check the sleeper and left my trainer at the truck stop. It was an honest mistake but out the door I go.
I’m kinda relieved didn’t feel like magnum was a good fit once I got there.

The trainer loved talking about meth too
Told me he’s on non stim ADHD medication but his girlfriend is on Adderal.
Then he told me all the fish in the river tested positive for meth because someone dumped a bunch in the river.
Then there was another meth story but I wasn’t paying attention
And then last night he shows me an energy drink called “tweaked” and proceeds to laugh like a Jackyl for ten minutes.

You almost succeeded in ditching your trainer, eh? Usually, THEY are the ones giving the boot..........! What a change of roles! :sign5:

My first year my team mate left me at Truck Stop not once, but 2 different times thinking I was asleep.

He SAID it was a mistake...........:dontknow:LOL

Was/is a great friend & we stuck together running for a year having a blast. Wasn't a big deal with our company & was actually source material for others busting our chops for quite some time.

This is the first time I have ever heard of someone getting let go for this. No sense of humor at all, I guess. I would have told them that "trainer" isn't anywhere in the Pre-trip instructions they tought me!

Hey, if this is all that happened....... I can think of a heck of lot that would be much worse. (Unless you dumped him in NY & made it to CA) :evil4: Well, now you have a great story to tell on down the line.

Good luck on the hunt. I hope you find someplace that is a good fit & you have much better luck next gig. ✌

We were t getting along and talking much. I told him I’m getting up at 3 am and starting my pre trip at 330 and hitting the road at 345.
When I Went out for my pre trip he was still in the sleeper so he jumped out and I didn’t realize it. I jumped back in and put myself on the drive line and off I went.
That dude was always getting lost in the bathroom and always had the sniffles.
I guess here’s to feeling good all the time
