Thanks 1nonly.. its nice to hear a womans side of driving. Swift is one on the table for me.. Roehl is the other.. I have narrowed it down to the two of them. Your thread has givin me a good insight on miles and home time. There are things I like about both and I take what I read with a grain of salt..( those of negativity of course!) It's hard enough to decide then to have all that bad stuff running through your head.
Both have terminals where I live so Im sure home time shouldnt be an issue.
Roehl pays a bit better but Im not sure about the miles.
I could go on but I dont want to bore anyone with my dilemma.. I just wanted to say good thread and if you have anymore info on swift that you feel may be portant.. let me know.. thanks girl!1nonly Thanks this. -
Swift recruiting is slammed right now, but they might always be slammed. I did manage to get a seat at the Millington Academy for May 31 though. Took 3 calls to my recruiter and even then she had to go to the mail room to find something I mailed to her over a week ago. Not her fault though, really, I sent something back to her with an original signature on it. Thought that would be better.....nope, fax, fax, fax! It's all good, gimme my keys????

I'm kinda techno-challenged! I've been trying to figure out how to get to the exams after I study the sections. I left a call-back twice today at Vertical Alliance so they could walk me through it. Got no call-back and I want to get this on-line stuff out of the way. How do you get to the exams?

LOL I didnt know they had a exam area.. I just found mock exams on the web.. A few websites have mock exams of 60 or more questions that will be on the knowledge test.. and there is one out there on the inspection as well.. it was a hit and miss for me so I cant even give you the web addresses.. just do a search Mock cdl exam or free cdl permit questions.. you should be able to pull up a few.. there one was one that had A lot of questions.. thats the one I passed with a 92 but 2 of the questions I knew.. but I read them to fast and picked to quickly... it just goes to show...when you take your test...SLOW DOWN AND READ AND READ IT AGAIN..
JustSonny Thanks this. -
I used http://www.cristcdl.com/otc/ when I was studying for my Class B. The questions were #### near 100% what I saw on the actual exam.
