Amazon should have their licneses pulled. Just because its an "independant" contractor does not absolve you from responsibility of at least vetting these idiots. Also i did find this circulateing around a few places.

Say he was trying to run or confirm a few details of the above.....im inclined to belive it. And amazon STILL hired him. There is a point where neglegence is a thing and considering how often this #### happens with amazon and the type of drivers that tend to run for them. Enough is enough.

 

I believe Amazon has immunity from lawsuits in the case of these independent contractors.

If someone is willing to research this, that would be great.

They lost several lawsuits. That said im talking the government pulling all licenses and operateing authority from them. There is a line and amazon has danced across it. Taken a dump on it. Sat the line on fire. Shot the guy who painted it and then set the neghbours house on fire besides.

Revoke their ability to move freight in any shape and or form. I mean for christs sake ive seen many other companys with much smaller infractions get slapped down over the years. The evidence against amazon is enough to literally fill an entire fleet of trucks with paperwork.

Edit: also yes i know there is a lot of irony that someone like me who pretty much hates the government and is an owner op is calling on the government to open a pandoras box......but with how many people amazon is killing and how many of these drivers #### near no one else will hire amazon gives jobs to like candy.....well maybe the goverment should enforce all them #### rules they stea....err tax us over and do their #### job. Amazon is clearly abuseing the system and ignoreing the rules we gotta follow. So time to put then in their #### place.

 

Even though these carriers are independent of Amazon they are still pulling Amazon trailers under the authorization from Amazon, so I do believe Amazon would still have some culpability involved in this crap
