In March 2022, New Jersey transportation officials said that they would work to improve truck parking as part of New Jersey’s 2022 Statewide Freight Plan to be released later this year.
Ban them now and we will work on a plan later.
Been years since I have been there but I remember a couple of places "drop in the dock and park on the street. We will call you". Guess those shippers are going to need a new plan.JoeyJunk, Boondock, TheLoadOut and 1 other person Thank this. -
Hmmm.....it ain't like there's many streets to park on in Bayonne anyway. There are a couple of hideouts but not many.

Probably most of the street parkers are can haulers from Port Jersey.

I don’t think it’s that unusual .
The town I live in doesn’t allow commercial vehicles over a certain weight to be parked overnight un occupied.
If they are actively loading or unloading it’s not an issue , but you can’t just park it and sleep or park it and walk off .
The town doesn’t allow any homeless people to set up tents or poop on the sidewalk or shoplift with no consequences either . -
Well looks like they've done nothing for parking in Bayonne...Just ban street parking and spew some rubbish.
