I’m thinking it’s part of the harness rubbed somewhere. Can’t find any issues with the power and ground to the abs module and all connectors looked good. Its intermittent..

I know there is a issue with the abs module splice to the backbone of the datalink on the international trucks built after 2013 and my truck is a 2016.

took the truck to my neighbours about 2 miles away and it didn’t act up. It been doing this for at least the last 5000 miles lol

I would have a good look at the harness where it is run near the transmission for wear. International zip ties the harness to the Allison transmissions and they rub through and create a variety of problems. I don't recall how they route the harness around the Fuller transmissions.
Try connecting a multimeter to one of the j1939 data link pins in the data port and the other to a good ground. The reading should be infinite. Then start moving the harness and see if the meter display start jumping around. on some trucks International ran the wiring harness on the outside of the frame on the left side just behind the steering axle. The harness would wear on the left front ABS modulator valve.
Put the meter on the floor where you can see it and keep poking at the harness.

    Dabbs_Trucking Thanks this.

I’ve got a weird ignition fault code that’s active.

spn 2167 fmi 11- message ignition and switched ignition do not match for secondary instrument cluster 1.. would this ignition fault cause issues with modules ?

    what does this mean ?

The code is from the display in the instrument cluster?

If there is a "A" in the display with the code it is active if there is a "P" it is post or inactive. Do you have the small gauge panel near the centre of the dash? If so is it working?

Yes I have the small screen in the middle bottom of the cluster. It works fine. I use Diamond Logic Builder to pull codes not the cluster.

this code is active and the abs datalink codes are intermittent
