"Test that has been given 6 times shows drop in scores."
Too much is made of the PISA test. 700k students take it every three years. It can be used to compare educational systems - to a point. It doesn't show growth patterns, and it hasn't been used long enough to show any real patterns.

The extreme is what gets the most interest in our society. Even better if it is infuriating. So, in my view, we are more aware of the idiots.
The quiet smart ones just go about their day without raising an eyebrow.Rideandrepair, FearTheCorn, hope not dumb twucker and 1 other person Thank this. -
experts have already said as many as 70% of all jobs done by humans will be able to be done by robotics or computing systems, and that’s just within the next decade. People who do computer programming, software development are already becoming obsolete, because the self thinking computing systems can do in seconds, what used to take them years. Just five years ago, these were futuristic jobs that a young person who is intelligent would seek out and go into an high-paying. Almost overnight they’re going to be unneeded. You need to think in terms of the compound effect of that. Intelligence builds on itself. There is no limit.
they are also in the beginning stages of developing what they call Atom computing systems. And I don’t even think the human mind can comprehend if they develop that what they will be capable of doing. We are entering a completely new way of life on this earth, whether we are ready for it or like it or not, it is coming. Humans will likely either ultimately be integrated with AI or moved to the side. Sad and sick but true. Most experts, think there will come a day in the not too distant future, where we are governed by the systems, because they will basically be able to problem solve any and all world problems rather quickly and efficiently. Human life on this earth HAS changed we just don’t realize it now. Revenge of the nerds as they say. lol it’s finally coming true. Even the developers who develop these systems are in awe and somewhat fearful of their near term capabilities and unsure, “if it’s a good idea or not” Musk, arguably someone who holds the most intimate knowledge into these things, is also fearful of it. He says all the time that we really probably don’t realize the Pandora’s box that we are opening.
they’ll tease us with many good things and developments and people will support it. There will be cures for cancer, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Cures for paralysis, and all sort of other miracle like medical advancements. Some even say we’re a decade away from basically all disease being obsolete. Due to the problem-solving, ability of the systems. cures for paralysis, and all sort of other miracle like medical advancements. But what happens from there? When they are able to reason and think for themselves and if they decide they don’t need us anymore? Then what? etc etc etccuzzin it and hope not dumb twucker Thank this. -
I said it before John warned us his mom tried too. Well I say we grab a chair some ice cold frosty beverages and watch the #### show unfold. lol.
