Hey how many days do you think it's gonna take you to get to deliver this load?
-
Not an Indian River driver but I used to pull loads like that when I drove tankers a load with that many miles will take about 4.5-5 days depending on how many miles you can drive each day, how fast your trucks governed, terrain, weather etcFullMetalJacket, nextgentrucker and Tanker_82 Thank this.

It should take about five days, providing I don’t lose time somewhere along the way. (blown tire, snow storm, etc)FullMetalJacket and nextgentrucker Thank this.

Cool, with my slow ### truck, I'd say it'd take me about 8 days lol!!! Btw, did IRT raise their trucks' governor? An IRT truck passed me a few days ago, and he was doing 76mph!! So did we get raised in the speed governor or was he an exception?FullMetalJacket Thanks this.

It was probably a team truck.nextgentrucker Thanks this.

Oh... Got excited for nothing, cool lol.

So... Got contacted by a recruiter from IRT, everything sounds great so far until he said that I would be getting 48CPM... I have a year experience but I thought if you had less than a year experience, you would be getting that and if you have more ( 1 year+ ) than you would be getting 60CPM. I guess everything changes often in trucking huh... No matter, as long as I get out of flatbed than it's good, for now though...

I don’t want to speak out of turn or contradict anything regarding your conversation with recruiting, but I think you might have misunderstood something during the phone call regarding the pay. 48 CPM taxable + 12 CPM non-taxable per diem, aka “reimbursement” will bring you to the 60 CPM you were expecting. To my understanding, that is what you would be starting at. Like I said, it’s not my position to intrude on conversations you’re having with recruiting, but I think you need to call them back and ask if there is a non-taxable CPM number that will be added to the 48, which will in turn bring you to the 60.Friend, motocross25, Knucklehead and 2 others Thank this.
