I had an epiphany about backing up a tractor-trailer on a city street

Ya I pull a flatbed so it’s never a problem unless I’m hauling something other than sailboat fuel.

 

As I always said, it's like being caught in a spider web.

 

Actually, I started coming here to ask questions of the Wise Ones,
now I come back for the high entertainment value.

So, my job is done, "tie rod world" is all happy again.
D - U - N - N. and greased.

Believe it or not , when I started with swift there was a couple of those oddballs in the flatbed yard with a spread axle.. then one driver took it to California on accident and got a ticket for kingpin law violation...since it was spread and not tandem where u could slide forward...

 

It’s a strip club, truck parking was probably an afterthought. Lol

 

Do the hubs use the same grease? Is it harder to back up a 96 wide? Why didn’t they just meet in the middle and make a 99 wide?
