Juveniles Arrested For Throwing Rocks Off Overpass In Knoxville

That makes me sad, these kids dont understand that it will just kill someone and they have to live with it. What the hell were they expecting to do with those rocks though? That is plain stupid. Makes me kinda sketch out wverytime I read one of these overpass articles.

 

Hang 'em high,,,nothing new, punks have been doing this as long as I can remember. The salvation here is they got caught. If I saw anyone on an overpass, I automatically was on guard. Obviously, these kids don't realize the consequence of their actions, and what are you going to do, lock these kids away? I'd give the kids a break, and arrest the parents, if any, for shoddy upbringing.

 

Being the son of a trucker, and traveling many miles with him, it’s hard to admit I did some idiotic things as a mid teen. Never rocks, we threw tons of snow balls though. Looking back i regret a lot of what i did from the ages 14-17, get mixed in with the wrong crowd, boredom, trying to fit in make people laugh. Thankfully I saw the light….. glad nobody was hurt.

 

Same here. I didn’t just run with the wrong crowd, I was the wrong crowd.

 

Same here , some would stop and try to chase you down. Mostly just heard an array of cuss words coming from their foul mouths

School buses were the ultimate targets.

Sadly not many years later I came upon a school bus that was used by a couple idiots for Target practice with a high caliber rifle. One girl was hit and killed.

This rock went through my windshield 5 years ago, I-57 just past Marion, IL. Shattered my windshield and scared the holy hell out of me. It was about 11 at night when this happened. I had to slow down and shield my face some so the glass wouldn't get in my eyes. Point being, that's super dangerous what those kids did, and I'm lucky that happened to me as late as it did. They really could have killed somebody out here. I hope they do better.
