Old raggedy sale barn on 51 in the middle of town? Biggest charolais bull i ever hauled came out of there headed to FPL in Augusta.

I stood very still behind the middle gate trying to be invisible. He strutted right past me and went straight into the nose.

 

Na this place you run down to 84 (I think) turn east toward laurel and then turn back north right across from a sawmill.


Talking about Charolais I showed up at MoKan one night, yard man wouldn’t answer his phone so I finally get broke into the load out shack. ####er wrote me a note said we ain’t coming sorry this ####### is a killer. So I get him found and throw the gate cause he looked gentle enough. I soon found as I’m climbing the fence he was sand bagging. He got me by the bottom of my feet and flipped me to what seemed the ceiling which causes me to emit a scream much like a 6 year old girl. I don’t hit the ground hood and a blue flash runs past me and I hear something hit the wall hard. I think well Docs dead…….I’m waiting on this bull to come finish me when I get my breath back and some sense. I stand up and Doc has this big ####### on the ground flat of his back with the bulls entire nose locked in his jowls. All 40 lbs of that heeler is trying to tear his nose off his face. It was hilarious the way that bull was screaming turn me loose I didn’t mean it I’m sorry…..but one of the more brutal things I’ve ever witnessed in seriousness. I finally get Doc to turn him loose Docs standing there shaking his hackles up and slobbering trying his best to bark but he doesn’t know how. I tell that bull get his ### on the truck and he beats feet. It was sheer dumb luck it was winter with no flys and I left the window down after backing in. Idk why but when I’m going for retreat with the right the left rolls down the window and cracks the door. I’ve never been much on getting out unless I got to….

 

You really need to write a book with all these tales. The reader gets a mental image that is better than a photo.

 

Between @wore out and @JolliRoger and probably Gus too; the tales they could tell would entertain for a while.

 

I'd love to be a fly on the wall for that get-together.

 

Maybe that’s what’s next….imagine a fat wore out cow hauler at a book signing. Ya I’m getting ahead of myself
