I’ve got a 6 gal boat tank inside my headache rack for the genny. The day I see boats with hazmat placards on em is the day I’ll do mine.

 

Good idea. Rather have it in a metal container than a plastic one and risk rubbing it through the container if it shifts.

 

Pretty sure they need to be metal containers. Local DOT loves picking on the ####### landscapers for stuff like that

I drilled holes on inside of rack and used 3/4” metal rods to set tank on top of. Got a strip from a mud flap between tank n rods and 2 bungies to keep it from moving

 

Got a quick disconnect fitting goes right into the carb feed line so I can run genny for about 50 hrs between fill ups.
