Sounds like one of there lease ops, they are just over $1 a mile and like $32hr for load/unloading. I’m sure the OTR freight guys see that and think it’s good money but for Cryo it’s a joke.

Another third party carrier with lots of “owner operators” aka lease operators. I’m sure just like Genox they probably run a lot of teams so hours of service are never an issue.viper822004 Thanks this.

I've seen them several times out west. I want to say that the guys I saw were hauling argon or oxygen, but I could be wrong. Never got to talk to them thoughRugerfan Thanks this.

It does annoy me seeing last week a LGT truck in Northern Maine. And I mean Northern. Almost to Canada. But still don't hire out of Maine.... Like I understand working a short time for Messer but still
Cali kid and viper822004 Thank this. -
Its pro
The flat rate is low. Plus operating costs are high. I’d say most or lot of people better off with working for the gas company.Last edited: Apr 9, 2025
viper822004 and Cali kid Thank this. -
I have a feeling that's why a lot of 3rd party carriers has lease programs. To put some of the cost into the driverscythe08, Cali kid and viper822004 Thank this.
