Climate Express

That's right, you gotta do what's necessary. I remember working at Western Express breaking in and the lay was 29 cpm a little over 15 years ago. I had a trainer that pushed me to the limit. Western, much like Climate, will put the miles on you if you can handle them, and in those days, they were outlaw as hell. Wasn't a single driver working for them that didn't have a case of log books. Safety looked the other way as long as it looked pretty on the pages. People are surprised but I actually made money there. Once I figured out how they did things, and liked to do business I adjusted. I was on their flatbed side and still could do the miles. Now that I bump docks, this is too easy lol. Most drivers want to make the big bucks on minimal work. In trucking, there's no such thing as minimal work.

 

We over the taking over I-70 again. Lol. I'm not in that convoy this time, they sent me down to Houston with coke.

 

They sent a model one by the yard, and it was pretty sleek. The interior looks like a million bucks! They didn't want to go forward with that model because it was too heavy. The way Tim ws talking, it seemed like Volvo was moving off the 760s. That's what made him get a few Freightliners. Swift is the first powerhouse I've heard rolling with them.

 

They're slightly darker, more in line with that shade of gray that Trekker uses. I like that darker look though. It's pretty sharp looking.

 

Ooooo weeee!!! You lucked up that blew like that. I've blown a couple earlier in my career and the tire shattered and the front end of the truck had considerable damage. Blowing a steer is probably the scariest thing ever in trucking, at least in my view. I'm glad you made it out good though...
