Am sitting in Grand Forks, ND where there may be snow flurries in the AM. last week in April!!!!

After the long time out and alot of miles on my last time out I took three days off, 04/16-04/18. Called first thing Monday Am and got a load assignment.

04.19.10: Load assignment from Menomonie, Wi to Indianapolis, IN. DH=74 LD=528.
I hop up to the terminal in Rosemount, hook to an MT and hop over to Menomonie. Simple drop\hook and in\out in <30". Beautiful day for driving. I drive down to consignee in Indianapolis, drop loaded trl and hook to MT trl. They have overnight parking there so I do my 10 hr break # their locatoin. Good day!!! 659 miles\day.

04.20.10: Next load assignment is received. Lebanon, IN to York, PA. DH=33 LD=592. Sleep late and take the short drive up to Lebanon. Simple drop\hook. out <45". Nice day for driving. Stop for the night in Triadephia, WV where there is a great place for buffalo wings. 378 miles\day.

04.21.10: Fog and rain!!! While driving I receive my next load assignment. Milton, PA to Tomah, WI. DH=91 LD=870. Make it to the cosignee. Live unload. In\out in 1.50 hrs. Hop to Milton and stop # TS a short distance from shipper. Appt is # 0800 hrs in the AM. 368 miles\day.

04.22.10: Light rain and fog in the early AM. Make it to the shipper with no problems. Simple drop\hook. In\out in <45". However, they are repaving the asphalt road so you can't use the same access that you used to enter their facility. You have to take a detour through downtown Milton. Very narrow streets and tight corners!!! Make it with no problems. Have to stop # Mill Hall, PA for fuel and to scale this load of 44,580. No problems. Continue with the light rain and\or fog all the way west to DuBois. Drive to Perryburgs, OH where I stop at the "J" for a hot shower and a great salad. 433 miles\day.

04.23.10: Nice day for driving. Drive up to Wisconsin Dells and stop # the Casino for their great buffet and slot machines. Had a great meal and won $325.00!!!! Good day!!! 508 miles\day.

04.24.10: Very light rain falling. Drive up to Tomah for my 0700 hrs appt. Live unload. In\out in 2.25 hrs.
Received next load assignment. Prairie Du Chien, WI to E. Grand Forks, MN. DH=92 LD=516. Hop down to Prairie Du Chien, WI. Constant rain until I got 25 miles from shipper. Simple drop\hook and am out in<30". No more rain!!!! Drive up to terminal in Rosemount, park the truck, and drive down the road to house for a hot shower, hot meal, and meet the needs of "the better half". Will spend the night in own bed, go to church in AM, and hop up to the terminal in AM. 308 miles\day.

04.25.10: Slight mist or rain falling. Hop up to terminal, fuel trk, and take off for E. Grand Forks. Make it consignee with no problems. Simple drop\hook. Stop # Simonson TS on I-29 for a great home cooked meal. Will wait for next load in the AM. The local weather forecast is calling for possible snow flurries in the AM!!!! A low of 32-35F for the night. 351 miles\day.

Yes, I am dryvan.

I am told by numerous drivers(O/Os, leasee's) that their lease program is very good. They are getting all the miles that they can safely\legally drive and alot of accessorial pay. Full FSC.

There is so much freight and we have such a great core customer base(10-15 customers) that all of the company drivers are also getting great miles!!!!
