Fedex ground kills construction worker

I'm sure he wasn't on his phone and had full attention on the road !

 

Heard a truck hit a construction worker somewhere in WV today, not sure of the details though….

 

Theres been a few morons today. My brother in Kdot just had someone rear end their scorpion while they were fixing a guard rail. Was just a hotshot pulling an empty trailer luckily, but it messed up one of his coworkers pretty good. Police found he was watching a #### youtube video and was doing 74 in a posted 45.

 

Dang I sure hate hearing that! Hope he heals up quickly….

 

Yea bro says he is going to be fine, but the scorpion truck got shoved into him and ended up breaking both legs an arm and several ribs in addition to a bad concussion. So he will be off work for a few months. Moron nearly killed their flagger too. Missed running her over by feet when he charged past her stop sign.

 

That explains why 581 was closed earlier this morning. I had to detour to the PA Turnpike in Carlisle to get to my pickup in Mechanicsburg. State Police had it sealed off.

 

Note to FedEx Ground:Better get your legal department on the line, and be prepared to pony up some cash!!
