Louisiana I-10 Officer gave me a Speeding Ticket and Did a Level 3 Inspection and put Speeding as a Violation to Fail my Inspection. Is it legal for them to Penalize you twice for 1 Violation? This seems like a massive abuse of power...

Not abuse of power. The citation and inspection are two separate things.
It probably says on the inspection report reason for inspection.

Your going to get very little sympathy from any of us. You got an inspection for doing near 15 over. Something btw that is an instant suspension of your CDL, beyond dangerious snd something you should #### well know better about. Your a professional not a dumb teen in a sports car. Also just because someone is doing 90 doesnt give you a right to break the law too.

You got an inspection for driving like a #######. And they slapped you for it. If you get to keep your CDL and your insurance doesnt drop your reckless ###. Take the lesson to heart. They are called speed LIMITS not speed SUGGESTIONS and the cop is unless there is a local law(s) i am unaware of has every #### right to slap you for an inspection.

For example in SD at least doing 10 or more over in a CMV is considered reckless driving and that is defo on the level 3 driver inspection sheet. Most other states have simular or stricter laws.

Tldr do better be less of a ####### and man up buttercup.

I'd be a hypocrite if I gave u #### for speeding... because I do it too sometimes, try to keep it 8 over or less, they will hardly look your way.. although back in 2021 I got a 4 over ticket in bum #### idaho . 59 in a 55.... they are just doing their job. Law enforcement. You broke the law so take ur ticket like a professional and move on .

I'm laughing at the fact that you got caught speeding but you're mad that you didn't get a clean inspection. Lol

I’ve been telling drivers on here and out on the road that enforcement is picking back up again. It was completely almost nonexistence for several years and people got some really bad habits developed. You would drive through a 60 mph zone and almost nobody was doing under 70. I feel like those days are coming to an end. I see a lot of people getting pulled over out there in a lot more enforcement going on. Those of you who speed regularly might want to reconsider it.

    D.Tibbitt, larry_minn and Kyle G. Thank this.
