What do you guys think of this? This is my truck, company assigned. I always thought nothing can touch the catwalk. Am I wrong? Every truck in the company has this same setup.![]()

As long as they’re protected like that they are fine.

My concern would be catching a quarter fender or something when jacknifed, but they are protected from wear on the cat walk.Speedy356, RockinChair, W923 and 6 others Thank this.

Yep. Quarter fenders and hucks. Straighten up and break your air lines and eff up the light plugSpeedy356, W923, austinmike and 6 others Thank this.

I have the same problem with mine. I try to put them up with a bungee, but it eventually ends up touching again... I have never had an inspector write me for it but they probably could

That's the main reason I still use coiled air lines. I've made a bunch of service calls since the 3in1 sets became popular.austinmike, Diesel Dave, blairandgretchen and 5 others Thank this.

That’s why I liked having mine run out the back with a flatbed.Magoo1968, Ruthless, Walk Among Us and 2 others Thank this.

I sure like the looks of those, but they don't seem like a wise choice for drivers that feel the need to turn as sharp as possible, even when it isn't necessary. How do they do in the winter when sno/ice accumulate on them? Probably just have to tap it off when stopped I suppose.W923, Walk Among Us and D.Tibbitt Thank this.

I have shared my opinion on that with management , always followed by blank stares.. would be a perfect setup for us... the only problem we do so much drop and hook stuff... not sure the yard dogs would be able to hook up.
plus they are hiring more and more rookies now and they tend to tear up the trailers in a ridiculous way... I pulled a brand new trailer a couple months back for about a week. Dropped it and then had it again couple weeks later and the sidewalls were all cut up, rub rail bashed in, they had a winch set over one of the tires and destroyed some tread on a tire... idk what the hell goes thru some of these guys head
