Solenoids are replaceable. If it has a lot of miles probably better to just replace injector.

I replaced injector but accidentally broke a stud off of the solenoid, is there any way to remove the stud? Where can I get just the solenoid?

The stud doesn't come out.....you may get a solenoid at CAT but I bet it won't be in stock

Reviving a very old thread here, is there anyway to soder the connection for one of the studs, or should I just wait for a new solenoid?

Yeah, I am going to, tore it apart this afternoon and figured out how to get the solenoid off, pulled one off an old injector I had, and ordered a new one in case this don't work out

Ok so now I am at a loss here, got a new solenoid and I am getting a miss on anything other than idle, truck ran normal for about three miles in a test drive now I can't get it to stop missing in my driveway, have removed the solenoid multiple times, tried other solenoids from old injectors, all do the same thing. The only thing I can think of is a problem in the wiring since its been moved around now, might try a new harness on monday.

Ok I figured it out, took it back apart and realized the little spacer or whatever you call it between the spring and the solenoid wasn't there, checked the old solenoid and it was stuck to that, so cleaned everything up and put it all back together and it runs good now.
