Thank you
I will give your suggestion a try in the morning. It’s been very frustrating. My truck has air.

With the hood open when you turn the key on do the injectors do a couple second buzz test?
The starter relay in the Power distribution box under the hood gets its ground from the engine
ECM if the engine ECM is not getting power the starter will not crank. If there is no buzz
test then I suspect the engine ECM is not getting power.
Two of the fuses in the battery box provide power to the ECM and IDM via the clean power
harness. The clean power harness is a three wire harness 2 power and 1 ground wire that runs
from the batteries to the main wiring harness near the firewall. depending where the battery
box is located the clean power harness can have several three pin plugs. The terminals in
these plugs loose their grip on the mating connector over time get hot and loose connection.
The clean power harness is also notorious for rubbing through and the wires corroding away
stopping the engine from starting and running.Heavyd Thanks this. -
With automatic trans, you should have a crank inhibit relay that the trans will control and allow key crank power to the starter relay if the transmission is happy. Check for power at pin 86 of the starter relay when cranking. Also check for battery power at the starter relay pin 30. If you jump power between pin 30 and 87 at the starter relay and it cranks, you know your starter is good and cranking power is ok. If you have key starter power at the starter relay pin 86, then the inhibit relay and key switch are good. You need to check the ground side. On the ground side of the starter relay, it will go through a thermal over crank protection switch at the starter, (if equipped). From there it is grounded inside the ECM. The ECM controls the ground to prevent the starter from engaging if you accidently crank the engine if it is already running. I have seen one ECM go bad internally with this switched ground. We just rewired the relay ground to chassis ground to bypass the ECM. Like mentioned, if the ECM or Transmission is not booting up, it will not crank. Do you have check engine lights or any codes?

My 2019 International 4300 has a safety feature called auto neutral. It engaged and now my dashboard continues to say the truck is in neutral when it’s in drive. Truck won’t start while showing neutral on the dashboard. Anyone have a fix for this.

Did you try to shift to neutral first and retry?

Maybe try unhooking the batteries for a few minutes.
