Thanks for the heads up! Now I'm puttin my air lines on the deck and I'm gonna lose a strap or three on my load.

What violation do they cite on the ticket? Last I checked there is no violation code for having airlines on the catwalk. And I would gladly remove the protection and video the condition of the lines if they tried citing me for damaged lines.

I imagine many have had problems with wear on the air lines where they've set on something and rubbed. It does give DOT an easy place to look for damage on air lines not protected.
But, I've seen lots of write ups for damaged air lines, but none because they were sitting on the catwalk.
