Raised my kids while we raised cattle and hay. I left them to go off to three wars. No hippie. I can promise you that. I’m just a lil country and a bit redneck. My youngest daughter loves her older sister and likes her cloths. My 21 years old son loves to wear my old USMC shirts. I think he is a little proud of his dad. It melts my heart. We are not poor. Maybe you might call us that. We always had a safe place to live and never went hungry. My wife cooks from scratch vs frozen bag dinners. I run nice equipment with a little bit style and a nod to my 3rd generation trucking family. My name is one my truck and my reefer trailers. Could I make more money. Sure, but if it means cheating folks…Could I have a more blessed life? I’m not certain that I can. You have no idea how happy I am to have such good kids and a nice lady. Been out of the truck for months now and had some time to reflect on things that really matter in life. For me anyway.Last edited: Apr 25, 2025

It’s a racket. The only way you get subscribers is if you wear yogurt pants. Maybe I need to start showing some camel

Lol... I just don't get why some keep saying to move to the country and magically we can all live better/easier... the vast majority of small towns I've lived in or visited were filled with just as much poverty as the cities

If there is no Wood mill, small factory that you can work as a maintenance tech, large farm, I can see it being tough. If there’s no opportunities, it’s gonna be difficult. I’m in the Midwest. It’s definitely not that hard to live in a country than where you are. Out west, country can mean wilderness.CAXPT, D.Tibbitt and Rideandrepair Thank this.
