I got out of trucking school at a local community college in November 2009, drove seasonally at a local cooperative hauling dry bulk fertilizer...now for the financial survival of my family, I have no choice but to go OTR. I need to find a company who has decent insurance, some hometime, etc.
I have an Iowa Class A CDL with doubles and tanker. I'm not doing HAZMAT. Nooooo way. Are there any companies that I can start making money with NOW, not 2 or 3 weeks from now? -
I'm not sure, I may have read incorrectly, since I'm half asleep here. But.. did you say the conviction was AS a minor, or for buying for a minor? (According to them, at least, as you said you didn't even buy the stuff). If you were a minor, last I checked, any criminal records from before age 18 should not even be able to be accessed, so that seems quite.. wrong to me. If it was the latter, I apologize for reading it wrong, but I agree that trying to get it taken off of your record, which you may be able to do with some work, would be worth a shot.
