You can hear one popping or the cords coming apart when you’re airing it up. It’s a sound once you hear it you don’t forget. Running one low or flat definitely causes it to fail but 20 percent i would have to say no. I personally wouldn’t want the hassle of airing it every day. But from what the OP is putting out it’s not the death sentence y’all are making it out to be. Sure it could loose air going down the road get worse what ever you want to call it. But any tire can at any time. Even a new Michelin it’s called road hazards. Loves as well as T/A, Boss shop etc are in the business of selling not repairing. I have seen them tell customers this tire is a liability we won’t fix it. Then fix it and sell as used. Loves won’t work on Budd or Dayton wheels usually either due to liability. Yet they are not out lawed. Their dumb ### techs just can’t be trusted with them. If the wheel comes off due to improper mounting it’s their ###. Same as a tire that’s been fixed improperly. When they sell it as used not repaired then it lessens their liability. Some responding here have had every possible scenario known to hit this forum. It is what it is and it’s a #### blow out at best

As always, I agree with you completely, but my mind is off in another pasture. First of all, sooner or later that tire is going to blow and if he's loaded he stands a good chance of blowing the one next to it so he's going to be buying two used tires instead of one. But the thing that gets me the most is something I've seen time and again on this forum. Guy gets on here for advice, doesn't hear what he wants to hear so they come out with some smarta ss reply or want to argue the point. If he can't take care of his equipment like the rest of us have had to do, let someone else haul it that does.

Funny thing. I called big area tire dealer. He asked if he could steal the story. That sitting empty, driving a few hundred yards at half pressure will ruin the tires. He said he could sell a lot of hires with that story. But I should not be concerned. Squirt some soap water on valve stem.if it bubbles, tighten slightly.
But no reason to be concerned if I have to fill it before loads. As long as does not sound hollow after unloading.
