Chad at Alignment Solutions in KC is where I always took my trucks if I was having issues. He always wants the truck to show up with worn tires so he knows where to start looking. How long has it been since you’ve done bushings on the drive springs? That’s a common culprit of alignment issues on Airliner suspension.

Just did all bushings a month ago. Kingpins are next to do. For shocks those will be replaced with oil shocks from sachs which are the ones that can last a lot longer than the aftermarket

IMO when it comes to steers don’t go cheap, spend the money on Michelin XLine energy. I’ve tried other brands on my steers, but I get the best results with Michelin.

Went by the truck the other day with the 12y/o daughter “oh wow, you have a flatbed, that never happens”

Left the house today to go pick up some Kawasaki racks. Clinton TN, Crossville TN, and pick up tomorrow in Memphis as well. Heading back up to Lincoln to deliver and get a windshield replaced. One of the hail storms got me last week on my way up from Texas.

Yesterday was a long day, not a terrible one but a long one. Got going early to get to Victorville so I could do everything at a low stress pace. When the guard shack gave me the drop sheet the MT didn’t look like one of ours but I’ve had them scramble the numbers before. So I drop and find the MT and yeah…

So, I head back to the shack and tell them that ain’t one of ours. So they give me contestant #2, it’s at least one of ours.

You can see daylight in the bottom corner of the door. Breakdown has me run it to a shop in Hesperia. The mechanic says it needs a whole new door seal but he can’t do it today. At this point I’m in danger of missing the
pickup appointment so I talked breakdown into letting me do a temp repair and planning on getting it fixed Monday after I live unload in Tennessee.

Apologies to the ghost of Cooter who I have shamed with my Cootering.

I think we had Michelin steers at the Food Service place I worked at. Ran mostly Freightliners and they either wore like that or cupped on one edge. We never got the tread in the middle anywhere close to the minimum before they had to be pulled and go in the trailer tire runoff pool.

Friend, Knucklehead and rokue Thank this.

@rokue as far as steer tires ones I’ve used before on my truck where the Continental

    IMG_8095.jpeg

I had these on the last truck I owned and I got 230,000 miles out of the steer tires and still had 6/32 of tread
