WTF? Guy has all this crap on the Truck yet no MC# or USDOT# displayed. Michigan Plate on back is obscured. Door says Private Not For Hire. He’s trying to P/U an expedite load. No wonder the rates are low. The Fmcsa is asleep at the wheel. Too busy fining legitimate Carriers for micro violations.
ARKANSAS English Checks Have Begun, They’re checking ALL trucks

Anyone have a guess on how long this will stand before some kangaroo court blocks it?
Oxbow, OliverCallenderIII and BlackjackCo Thank this. -
You should study what a kangaroo court actually is, its a bit the opposite of the way you apparently think.broke down plumber and Sirscrapntruckalot Thank this. -
So...how's the English enforcement precursor campaign going there?
Have the inbound/outbound rates improved there, since the non English speaking mass of foreigners stopped going to the state? But did it really stop?
Social media is full of hopefuls wishing for this enforcement to be a magic wand improving the load to truck ratio.
Remember one thing, this enforcement goal is not meant to make someone more privileged business wise, definitely not to please someone's xenophobic feelings.
It is first and foremost meant to improve safety on the roads. What good will it do, if once they have successfully removed the English language illiterates, the government will issue more of those H-2B visas to nations where English is known and practiced, e.g. South East Asia, to fill in the gap?
The executive order to enforce English may be argued as good for the roads safety but in order to limit the number of non citizens giving you competition, other legislative measures ought to be used.Last edited: May 6, 2025
