Texas Best Smokehouse is the best BBQ I’ve ever had. Amazing smoked sausage, as well. There are several locations, scattered about TX. I ate at their Italy, TX, location, which is across the street from Love’s.

Note: This is not the same company the OP ate at, which is why I put it in bold text.

Well I going to stop in now that I got a good feeler out there to try... I'm not a bbq expert by any means ... anybody in here tried that bbq place in Junction Texas across the highway from pilot/fj ? Nick's bbq or some sort of name like that.. did a 34 at that truckstop some months back, seemed kind of expensive for food so I didn't try but maybe I'm missing out on something...

You guys are killing me. I miss my favorite foods in Louisiana. Working local, 5pm till 5am. Get good exercise, usually only eat 1 meal per day around 3pm. It’s not all that bad. Been losing weight and saving money.

I like hitting kwiktrip $.29 lb bananas. 8 piece chicken $10. Different sandwich special every weekday. I used to think it was expensive. But found similar chicken in store freezer. $12. Heck 2.5 lb frozen, raw, not seasoned chicken breast $8. So 8 decent hunks of hot, white meat, breaded, couple dipping sauces. 4 meals easy. Took one, cut up on a salad. Not for every day. But quick protein.
They had free samples few weeks back. Just glad I do not stop there often.

Nock's is pretty good, price ok also. Do not go to cooper's in junction. Their brisket suck's and always has, and expensive.. imho

Everyone has different tastes so I'm not knocking anyone's opinion, but for me, Texas Best BBQ is just mediocre. Its just basic BBQ in my opinion. The best BBQ down in this part, in my opinion is Soulman's. They have several locations around n/e Texas.

I'm glad yall enjoyed it though.
