USA: High schoolers getting $70K-a-year job offers from companies for the trades

I love this!

my college was useless, and I hated middle management.

I don't play well with others if there is a lot of office politics involved. lol

 

Fabricators,electrical engineers,HVAC technicians-those trades are HOT right now!
They’ll certainly be in demand as summer rolls around. A journeyman can make a decent living!

 

If they willing to bust their ### and learn for the next 8 or so years they can go out on their own and make bank .

 

go for the Master card , work anywhere and pull any permit in your state .

 

Kids don't want to get their hands dirty these days. They think they deserve millions of dollars to stream themselves playing video games or whatever.

 

Both my boys went into the trades, 23yr old is a red seal journeyman welder, 20 yr old is a 2nd year electrician and has now jumped to 1st year apprentice heavy duty mechanic.

23yr old made 106,000$ last year. Works m-f 40 hours regular pay, 8 o/t every week.

Younger one is m-f 40 hours a week and made 65,000$. Once he is a journeyman he will make $51/hour at the shop he is at.
