There is a mate of mine in the UK with a similar outlook on business life to you. He had a 6 wheel rigid like yours but a Foden to which he was devoted but I think he now has a Volvo as Foden were ditched by Paccar some years ago. and a centre axle(s) trailer like yours and, like you I think, prospers from a niche in the transport market. He has at least an uncle and I think a brother, both independants but who stick with semis.

Sadly he has no love for the latest version of our truck drivers' site there and we haven't seen him in a long time. You might be interested in the comparisons if I can dig out some of his pictures. His name is Daniel Punchard but all who know him call him Punchy Dan.

 

Awesome! I've got total respect for anyone that can produce that level of craft.

IMHO one of the central issues of our current society is that we are led by people who don't know how to fix anything, don't know how to build anything, just want to use what others have fixed and built for them and #### on the people who do the fixing and building.
