Town official shoots lost DoorDash driver

Heard about this one. Shot the driver in the back. WTF??
I think he can kiss his firearm license goodbye.

 

I guarantee there's more to this story than we're told. I've never met an FFL holder that did not follow the law to the letter.

 

This maybe an exception to the rule. Video shows him shooting at someone even though they’re GOING AWAY. At that point there is no longer a threat!

 

It's a very naive mentality. Imagine if the military or police used your train of thought. All their adversaries could just turn theirs backs! An armed aggressor can return fire at any time and nobody is going to let that happen if they think there's a chance of getting shot in the process.

And we’re not talking about the police or military doing this- we’re talking about an idiot who was caught on video shooting at someone who was driving away! And even then police and military have procedures against threats (and assessing them)!
New York State is more than likely going to rake him over the coals!

If you think it's a smart move to let an armed assailant walk away from you that's your perogative but anyone with half a desire to guarantee survival isn't going to share your view.

 

So when you yell at somebody to get off your property and they turn around to get off your property it's okay to shoot them? Good to know I guess.
