Do you guys ever cook in the truck stop showers?

To be completely fair you use shower shoes so that you do not step on the tiles and get athletes foot from other drivers but if you cook in the bathroom the only thing you expose the food to is the air. Typically a bathrooms become contaminated from a flush expelling matter into the air for a short time to settle on toothbrushes and the like. Unless you're in there taking a crap before you cook the food will only be touching your cookware which you should have cleaned anyway.

 

never used "shower shoes" and never had any foot maladies.

I do go barefoot all the time so no bad crap can enter my callused feet. lol

 

The bathroom is clean.

 

just buy a sandwich, go back to your truck, or sit at the counter and eat it.

 

Yes started IN the crapper and now has gone DOWN the crapper. What grown folks talk about is enough to make a child such as myself wonder what the world is going to be like when I grow up.

 

I don't have to worry about what I want to be when I grow up.

at 71 you can relax and just be childish and people just shake their head

 

Shower shoes are sorta like putting down an ### gasket. After a few years and a few emergencies you just say F’it and raw dog it.
