Cuauhtémoc Brooklyn Bridge collision - Wikipedia
Vessel lost power and was carried by the currents into the bridge. -
Losing power is no excuse.
Especially on a training vessel where the whole purpose is to teach the crew members of each section of the vessel how to properly maintain and operate it.
Like the one that ran into the Key Bridge in Baltimore, Loaded with violations, skipped inspections and maintenance.
The investigation will determine exactly what went on and when. Somebody is on the hook, possibly for criminal charges.hope not dumb twucker Thanks this. -
Collision happened at night so maybe the Mexican Navy does the majority of the training in daylight. The ship was headed out to sea but when it lost power it was directed towards the bridge!
hope not dumb twucker Thanks this. -
Leave it to ‘ol Mex to still use one of the ships Christopher Columbus left behind. This is the first I’ve ever heard of a Mexican navy. Maybe it was a coyote front to get more immigrants in since the Tejas border is finally closed.

Anyone know if Chuck Schumer is able to investigate this ?
nikmirbre Thanks this.
