Hey thanks for the interesting post, its been a little quiet on the forum lately. I've made a post about a radio problem and for some reason as I'm typing along, my fingers don't always type what my brain was thinking or auto correct takes over. Usually someone post a problem with their radio, so naturally my mind goes into troubleshooting mode, so all I got was you had a 30 minute conversation and it appeared that your radio was in pa mode. But that's part of the problem with forums on the internet. When you post a problem about a radio, its important to give all the details. But in your situation you were simply telling us the problem and the solution. As an old radio guy, I totally misunderstood what you were saying, especially throwing in the words dead-key. Ha. It's actually good advice for someone new to cb radio.
