I'm Not for sure but I think it was about 4 months ago. To be honest I think it is the way ecm is set up and it is a 10spd automatic. It pulls better with a loaded trailer than a empty.

If the truck has an automatic I would have to say there is a lock up problem with the torque converter, thats why it pulls better loaded than empty. It also explains low fuel mileage an power. The N-14 is a very efficient engine. It should pull rite with a cat and get better fuel mileage doin it.

Have you checked the charge-air-cooler? A leaking charged air cooler will cause you to loose fuel economy. Also, if your CAC is leaking and you have a pyrometer, you will see high exhaust temps.

What he said first, If you have low boost it will cut back on the fuel, Is the throttle pedal going to full travel, then see if it is sucking air in to fuel, what is the fuel pressure, what is the intake fuel restriction, could be a bad filter, collapsed hoses or plugged ECM cooler plate. Check the return fuel they do have a problem with allowing combustion back into the fuel system, Do a cylinder cut out test, you can just unplug them they will not log a code, then if there is a problem injector is it the injector or the pass threw connector. Check the air filter, clean the housing before you put it back in. Inspect the turbo for damage, on the compressor and turbine side. Was the valve set done properly? Just a thought!
