    Whoo boy... Wait till they play with the brass nut on a 4 inch hydraulic cylinder with a pipe wrench. Chew it up and twist badly.
    Tell him, do not use a pipe wrench, use a cold chisel. He is astounded, cold chisel, huh. Just gouge it off in pieces. No, turn it backward, put the square end up against the ears on the nut, and tap your hammer against the cutting end.. Chisels are cheap, and can be reground. Badd scalloped nuts are expensive, have to order and wait. sSmilar to below

    Engineers design, buyers procure components, factory line assembles. Then the pore old mechanic/serviceman/maintenance man has to find a way in to what needs fixing. If they would just build one, send it down and let us take it apart.. Just one, once...

    My volvo has 12.35k axles. A fair amount are 13k. That might just be the 860s.
