Kind of a two part question I guess. I’m in SC and I’ve been looking to get into car hauling since I started driving about 3 years ago. I don’t have any experience with car hauling, just LTL and a little reefer. I’ve seen a few threads about companies that train, but I was wondering if anybody knows of any that train and don’t have in cab cameras. I think the only one I’ve found so far is USAL. Also, anyone’s general experience about training, or companies with in cab cameras, or any knowledge or tips would be greatly appreciated!

I’ve actually been thinking about moving to TX anyway, but I was wondering if there might be any companies hiring in my area since moving for a job I don’t even have and may not like seems somewhat riskyaustinmike Thanks this. -

You might look into who is hauling out of the BMW factory in Greer SC

If you’re looking for training info, when did it the training I was at that BMW factory in Greer SC. They tell you how to inspect the looking for scratches in paint. I found backing all cars on trailer was better. Because you don’t have people watching you like you will at dealers. When unloading you undo the straps and drive off easy and quick. You also have try and load the truck in the correct order for your stops. That can be a pain. We needed like 3 inches minimum space between cars. So they don’t bump into each other going down road. New cars has plastic spacer/stop on the shocks to stop them from moving. That how we could get them only 3 inches apart on truck with hitting each other. It took me 3 hours to load 8 cars on the truck. I had 8 car soft curtain side truck and trailer.
