As per the title.. All the way from the first model to the last year of production of the 125 model. The GHG17. With or without emissions on, but preferably with.
Freightliner advertises on their brochure a life expectancy of 1 million miles but I wonder about real world scenario...

Just shy of 800k is the highest I've personally seen but that was also at a Peterbilt dealer so we didn't get many of them coming through.
cascadia4life Thanks this. -
1 million on a 2017,DD 15 and 10 speed.
Bought new by an O/O,ran mostly California to Houston.Well maintained. -
I've one at 1.9 million km. 2014. Second head needs to be replaced. Ran overhead at Detroit once a year after replacing and still loosing it. Junk engine. DD15. Automatic. Basically every 650k miles need a new head

A long time ago, there was an article written in a trade publication (don't remember which) about a a owner-operater from NC who ran his to around 1.4 million miles. And it was still running at the time of the article. He had all the fuel mileage products: Trailer Tail, side skirts, wheel covers, Air Tabs on the cab, etc. He bought the truck brand new, and averaged over 9 mpg, not hauling only light loads either

Not Cascadia, but a Century. Still was DD15 w/10 speed manual. Can't remember, but think it was 2008.
Took it to 1.5mil before catastrophic failure in sub zero blizzard in IA, when it needed complete rebiuld.cascadia4life Thanks this. -
Technically, It’s the engine life you are asking about, not the truck itself. I know of tons of trucks that have 4-5 million on them, but they are on their 3rd to 5th or 6th overhaul or have been completely repowered by another make of engine along their life. But i doubt a cascadia will do that. The plastic and interior alone will most likely rot and crack to a powdery dust before it could ever get that old.
Sons Hero, AModelCat, cascadia4life and 1 other person Thank this. -
Thanks! Going to try and find that out!

Sucks you are going through that...but you never did over heads before, and only after replacing it?
-
966k currently on my 2016 DD13, it's an Expedite truck with a generator so it hardly ever has to idle, bought it with 500k run only Mobil Delvac 1300 super on 50k intervals, does not use or lose a drop in between changes, replaced oil pan gasket at 685k and since they were in there also replaced oil pump, send sample to Detroit and it always gets a clean bill of health so far!
Rookie driver 956 and cascadia4life Thank this.
