Hi did you feel the vibrations in neutral while going downhill,,,,
I have done everything including rebuilding my driveline but no luck yet
-
Please describe the vibration.
thank yoj -
Thanks for the reply. Its 2018 volvo d13. 750k miles.
My vibration is real head scratcher.I feel most of the vibration in the seat and slight vibration in the steering. I feel like it’s my driveline but no change after rebuilding it. Till now i have spent tons of money but no luck. Parts replaced:
Rear tire and rims(bf godrich)
Front tire and rims( michelin))
Both Front whole hub assembly and king pins
Levelling valve and height adjustment by volvo.
Front cab bushings.
Cab levelling valve
All air bags.
Rebuilt driveline.
Mechanic said Leaf springs and motor mounts are fine.
I am thinking about injectors as i read in some online forums that d13 injectors could cause vibration.. but on the other side i dont have any classic symptoms of injectors going bad..
second thing coming in my mind is driveline shop might have missed proper balancing as this 6x2 truck with one differential and longer driveline . -

I just read most of this. And one truck is a 2011 that is old. I wonder if the harmonic damper on the engine crank could be wore out?

Yes .. can feel the sensation as soon as i start moving…and can felt at all the speeds…can be felt in neutral going downhill and felt more while uphill at lower speeds
