Drivers park crazily on the shoulders of busy roads. It's a road hazard. They're too #### cheap to pay for parking their truck somewhere. There's a big pay parking lot off Briley Parkway off one of the redlights past the big Averrit terminal. I'm sure there's other pay options too. But most truck drivers think the world owes them free parking whenever and wherever.

 

What is the TA property being used for now?
Kinda lost touch with Nashville since I moved to Nevada.

 

Come on mayor Freddy! If the truckers had illegal in front of their names you would be welcoming them with open arms! Nashville used to be a very trucker friendly city, now it’s just a big blue rat whole! Glad I’m retired, and on behalf of all the good people in Nashville I apologize!

 

Are these overnight parkers or are they parking on the street for hometime? If it’s the latter I don’t have much sympathy, they can find spots to rent while they’re home. If it’s the former then that kind of sucks but at the same time they shouldn’t be running all the way into town knowing there’s no parking.

 

Either a parking lot for Titans game or part of the site for the new Titans stadium.

 

To be fair she does call out the T/A closing as part of the problem in the article, even though she acts like it took government to figure out that was the problem, but there is less than zero chance they come up with a solution other than fine and tow.
