Drivers Around Music City,Beware

The Oilers are getting a new stadium? Crying for one is why we kicked them out of Houston.

 

Yes right next to the current one, in what is the parking lots for Nissan Stadium so the T/A got sacrificed to become a car parking lot when the new stadium opens.

 

I stayed at the TA twice. Both times I had to find somewhere to test me for rabies and leprosy. It was that nasty.

 

It was a dump yes, but it was a dump with 100+ parking spots that didn't get replaced.

 

Now they are called "Unhoused".

 

That place was a S-hole anyway. Yes it had parking spaces, but nobody parked there unless they had no other choice.

Still, I noticed that the councilwoman didn't propose for the city to buy that property and open it for truck parking in order to alleviate the conditions that are causing her so much hand-wringing and pearl-clutching.

 

It used to be tied with the TA in Atlanta for that dubious distinction, back before Atlanta shut down.

 

And to think that NRG Stadium was completed just 6 years after the team moved to Nashville, which means that the planning had probably begun before the team was moved.

Regardless of the logistics, I know a bunch of people who are still sore at The Adams Family for that.
