    My sandbar sand was checked the other day for temp.

    139.

    I'd say I feel bad for the tourists but...shoes/flip flops are a thing..

    Also the beach, was at 110 air temp yesterday, even with the breeze.

    U guys be careful in the heat.. Ive learned along time ago when I used to work outside in the summer, u got to hydrate before u go outside... Ive had heat sickness one time and that was enough.. I carry these with me in summer and they do a great job of hydrating you after you have sweat your ### off and plain water is no longer replenishing..I USE one package for like a gallon of water, otherwise they are to sweet for my taste IMG_20250625_1531366.jpg

    I wonder if those packets would help with cramping up. My arms, hands, hamstrings all seize after too much sweating

    Yes they do, they do a very good job of hydrating and taste way better than Gatorade and no sugar

    Also you can just mix a teaspoon of salt into your drinking water , it will keep u hydrated better than regular water and it will help a lot with cramps. And also just drink more water, cramps is a sign of dehydration..

    For me my first sign of getting hot is I can't think straight or go to do something then can't remember why I'm standing in front of the thing I'm looking at.. Time to go sit in the AC and cool off

    If your drinking coffee in this heat wave, either cut back, or double up on water/stuff d is suggesting.

    Cramps, seizing up of muscles, etc are signs of dehydration. As is the color of your pee. Dark, drink more water.

    Drink more H20, or again stuff like D is suggesting. Coconut water will also do the trick, and is better than regular water.

    These crazy temps it's important to stay hydrated. No shame in resting in the AC/Shade if your feeling over heated.

    TLDR = Stay hydrated people!
