It's a good trailer, got a big winch that I haven't used yet . I has a remote that operates all functions it'll be really handy loading dead equipment especially trucks. I wish it had auto inflation on those 17.5 tires. Boss got a deal on it he says that's why he didn't order one .

 

10-4 really appreciate the info. They yard did put on carpet protection over the stakes and also nailed chocks into my boards.

 

Easy-ish week so far. 2 loads of this so far this week.

This the sort of thing that thoroughly annoys me.

We’re hauling into a jobsite off of Mallory Lane in Brentwood (suburb of Nashville) TN. It’s a new Volvo dealership.

To get in this entrance you have to be completely on the wrong side of the road, turning right, in a right hand curve, and drag your loaded trailer up over this bank, while turning.

Let’s not even start on turning around to get back out….

It’s a multi million dollar project, with millions of dollars of dirt moving equipment on site, and you can’t even give us a decent entrance and turn around spot?!

Those tire scrub marks are from when I was dragging it around on my way in.

Well my exciting Florida load got turned into a 50 mile take" the load to the yard" head fake. They basically used me as a local driver for mileage pay. Nothing new.

Swapped that pipe for some steel plate to washington on monday.. this the correct way to tie this down? Seems like this stuff wouldnt even need to hit the brakes very hard for it to come flying forward..each stack is around 15k a piece
