I'm surprised your insurance company didn't discover the mistake.
As a business owner don't you submit the DL to insurance to find out if they will even cover the employee.
The driver might be able to change information on the CDL, but not on the MVR. The MVR would show the changed information on the CDL card itself.

Why would you depend on the insurance company to catch something that you are supposed to catch?
201 said you must do your Due Diligence, which I disagree; you are required to do your Due Diligence. YOU pull the MVR, YOU investigate the prior employment, if you can't or won't, then you hire someone. You road test every driver, you make it real real-world test, not pull over there and park type test.Deere hunter Thanks this. -
