Hi folks. Running a '25 Peterbilt 589 and the seat height is driving me crazy. It's got the same stock risers Peterbilt has been mounting their seats onto for a while but in this cab it's just way too high. I normally don't like to sit on the floor (back can't take the beating) but if you add enough air into the seat to keep it from bottoming on every bump then you are sitting up with the wheel on your lap. Is there possibly some adjustments on the seat I'm missing???
Peterbilt seat too high

A Legacy Lo is probably the only way to get you where you’re comfortable. Their adapter make the swap straightforward. I had one in my previous truck and it was the perfect seat, regardless of seat height.

Couple inches higher than I’d prefer.
The only solution is getting a lo pro shorter base. Probably need an adapter also unless you’re going to match the new base with the seat it was designed for..
All in all an expensive fix imo.Rideandrepair Thanks this. -

Dump all the air out of it and ride that way.. i never liked bouncing up and down all day with air in the seat.... The wide cab with the fishbowl windows doesnt help at all either..
