You know that car and motorcycle brakes are hydraulic. Old rubber lines can disintegrate on the inside. So you can apply the brakes, but when released, the lines do not allow the fluid to return back towards the master cylinder, keeping pressure on the caliper pistons. The rider won’t know, he will realize that the engine is struggling. The rider I helped thought his transmission locked up.

Simple fix with a wrench. OR if you don’t have a wrench and need to get home, just cut the line. Watch out for hot fluid, it will be BOILING.

Unless you ride stuff old enough to have a rod running from the brake pedal to the rear drum.

Apparently it rained an inch and a half last night and earlier today. Spent a good chunk of the day cleaning. I hate cleaning with a passion but it keeps the castle from becoming a dungeon.

So while I was in the scalehouse today, the lady asked how often I was in Idaho. I had nothing showing ID in my logs.

I told her I come up here pretty frequently. Not trying to be specific, but she had the other person in the scalehouse cross reference my tag somehow.

Other guy says it's been since March on whatever he was looking at.

Anybody know what he was checking, and how he got that info?

I'm up here just about every week, or every other, last I came through was a week ago Friday. I'd have hated to not have a log sheet and they've got something that shows I was there on a certain day.
