I've got a 99 FLD120 with a E model that has had me and my old man stumped.
Crank, no start. I’m not gettin no fuel out of both the return lines nor the transfer pump.
This all started after I put new fuel lines on my rig I already got an new transfer pump, new check valves, new filters, 2 new hand primer, and a 2 month old cam sensor Even ran it off a jug with fuel and it didn't start, fuel holds then drains back into the jug once u lock the primer down.
Kinda out of ideas and I had to cancel all my loads this weeks this truck just a pain in the high corners. Lookin to see if anyone ran into this issue?

Check valve backwards ?

I replaced both the check valves 2 months and it ran fine until I threw new fuel lines on
-
Was it running till you put new lines on it? If so start there looking for your problem.
I have seen the inside of a rubber line have a hanging piece that closes the tube off of a fitting. It’s possible you have a loose fitting bad crimp or not plumbed correctly.MACK E-6, bjytech, Diesel Dave and 4 others Thank this. -
Yup it was running fine until I put new lines on my engine that same day. U can prime it 2000 times and fuel just no where to be seen out of either line. Kinda tired of throwing money at this crap so would I have to get new lines?
-
I wouldn’t think but you need to do some diag here. Don’t just assume everything’s fine.
Start simple can you blow through them?
Have you run the suction side of transfer pump into a clean bucket to see if it makes any difference?
you have to isolate the problem not just guessMACK E-6, Deere hunter and Jordonh Thank this. -
I blew through all the lines they all seem clear. Took the return line off and u can hear bubbles in the fuel tank due to me blowing through it. Fuel traveling through the transfer pump but it’s not returning back to the filter base nor towards the injectors.
Talkin bout this line or the one off the housing running to the ecmAttached Files:

When pumping the hand pump does it feel like it’s doing anything?
pull it off and post a pic of bottom of it so we can see the check valves. Possibly one flipped but doubtful since this started after you put lines on it -
The primer does absolutely nothing it’ll work once I pull the line off the ecm and put it into a jug of fuel but it doesn’t hold and sends the fuel back into the jug once u lock it in place. Primer also a day old as well

wore out Thanks this. -

Check valves are right so take the ECM lines and hook them together to take it out of the equation. Fuel doesn’t have to go through there were hunting the restriction through process of eliminationJordonh Thanks this.
