3406e Cranks Cranks but no start

    Hook both of this lines from the ecm together through a fitting correct?

    Well you can use a fitting but if you can just eliminate one hose that would be easier

    If all fails, I would do the starting fluid(ether) slightly to see if it fires up.

    Joined both of the lines together pump the primer and it still isn’t getting hard. May gotta try the ole ether method trick I don’t even know honestly.

    Squirt some in the intake air cleaner as you turn the key if your by yourself. Just small squirts at a time. Squirt at your in risk though. There’s a bolt by the hand pump you can remove and put fuel in it. I can’t remember the exact place since I haven’t had my CAT for awhile. Maybe @wore out tell you. I’m thinking your hand pump is shot. Been there.

    Read this and check to see if you have the valve.

    Q&A: Cat C15 Fuel Primer Pump - Installation & Troubleshooting

    "The system has a line underneath the secondary fuel filter housing near the rear and it runs up to the fuel transfer pump. There should be a valve on the line at the filter housing. To prime the engine, you will need to close the valve. If you do not, air will get back into the system and it will feel like the hand primer does not work."

    You said you put check valves on it. Did pressure regulating valve have an oring on it?…..are you sure cause new valve doesn’t come with it gotta buy it separately
